
Design by Conran for jcpenney
Conran & Company today announces a new partnership with retailer jcpenney to design a significant collection of homewares for the American market.
Our contract adds to the amount that the creative industries in the UK contributes to the UK economy and will make a significant contribution to the profits of Conran Holdings.
‘Design by Conran’ will be exclusive to jcpenney and is a long term collaboration with the first products launching in approximately 300 stores and on jcp.com in spring 2013.
Terence Conran will lead a dedicated design team from Conran & Company, in collaboration with jcpenney product developers, to create a range of Conran designed products for the home in the core categories of furniture, upholstery, lighting, textiles and accessories. Each piece in the collection will be designed with great attention to detail and draw on Terence’s sixty years of experience working in design, retailing and business.
