Sebastian Conran

Sebastian Conran is Creative Director of the Product and Graphic design studios of Conran and Partners, a 100 strong architecture and design practice. Sebastian is experienced in a wide range of manufacturing techniques especially those involving plastics and mechanisms. His technical innovations and inventions have been involved in dozens of patents and his widely acclaimed work has been awarded numerous design, marketing and innovation awards. Most British households contain one of his creations such as the famous anyway up cup. Sebastian has written and illustrated a variety of books including Mothercare’s ABC and 123 books, and Contemporary Furniture and Lighting. He has recently designed a cookware range with Nigella Lawson and a car for Nissan.

Tom Conran

Having worked in the restaurant business with numerous people including Sally Clark and Alistair Little, Tom went on to open the Oyster bar in the Michelin Building. He currently owns and runs one of London’s favourite pubs - named after Sophie - ‘The Cow’. He also owns ‘Tom’s Deli and Café’, ‘Lucky 7’ and ‘Crazie Homies’ a Mexican restaurant and bar.

Sophie Conran

Growing up in the famously foodie family, Sophie has always had a passion for food. As a little girl she helped her mum Caroline, a well-known food writer, test her recipes. Now a working mother, she has turned her love of cooking and home into her work. In 2004, Sophie launched a Gourmet Pie Company, winning four medals in the Great Taste Awards in 2005. Her first cookbook “Sophie Conran’s Pies” was published in 2006. The Sophie Conran for Portmeirion collection launched in 2006 with its range of beautiful but practical kitchen-ware, achieving phenomenal success worldwide and winning a variety of awards, including an Elle Deco Style Award 2006. In recent months, Sophie has teamed up with a variety of designers including Drummonds of Chelsea, with whom she has re-designed their showrooms, and Arthouse, with whom she is designing a range of wallpaper which has launched in 81 B & Q stores around the country. Sophie also has a monthly Food & Drink column as a contributing editor for Junior Magazine.
