History of Conran

Over 50 years of design

Our heritage stretches back to the founding of the Conran Design studio in 1956 by Terence Conran and the opening of the Habitat chain of home furnishings stores in 1964.

The Conran brand is a trusted source of good design and today operates shops, restaurants, bars and hotels, a thriving international architecture and design practice Conran & Partners, product and graphic company Studio Conran and Brand Licensing division Conran and Company.
